Photos from this morning. I bleached up my roots a couple days ago since it’s been 4 months and starting to look really gross. I was bleaching it myself when Emri was on her date so I missed a thousand spots on the back and had her help me bleach the parts that I missed yesterday. But I mixed too much bleach and ended up bleaching the rest anyway.
This morning I dyed it ash blond but it turned out to be a lighter shade of bleach. I think I’ll just touchup and tone until it’s not in-your-face yellow and stop messing for a while.
Left with camera on high exposure. Right with camera on medium. Closer to the second one irl.

Gatsby dyes fade flippin fast. In less than two weeks it faded back to the bleach color it was before I dyed it. I could see my roots growing out already too. I couldn’t take it anymore and dyed it the same color today and now it’s back to grey ash blond. Except this time it’s more even. I really like it right now, I just wish it’d stay.
Funny thing is my family cant tell the difference at all. My mom didn’t notice, and when I asked my brother if he could tell, he said “YEAH DUH IT’S NOT BLACK ANYMORE” and I said I dyed it 30 minutes ago and he said “oh yeah no.”
Hair currently. I’m not really sure what it is. Kind of a mix of gold and silver? Some parts are a bluish tint silver, fading into a goldish grey blond. My hair is so damaged from the dye process that I probably wont be doing anything else with it for a while.
Though, next semester I think I’m going to try pink, and then full silver.
